PROM ATTENDANCE AGREEMENT 2022
Presented by Learn Together Lowcountry, the A Night to Remember Prom
Each prom attendee (high school students, guests, and chaperones) must indicate agreement and sign on the registration forms. If you are bringing a guest, they must also read this agreement and fill out a Registration Form and indicate agreement to abide by these guidelines. All high school students and guests must have a parent also read this agreement and sign the student or guest forms.
In consideration of being permitted to attend the Learn Together Lowcountry “A Night to Remember” High School Prom (hereinafter referred to as “Prom”) all attendees (hereinafter referred to as “student”) and parents agree to the following:
I understand that due to limited space, this event is only available for students who are in the 10th, 11th, and 12th grades as of the 2020-2021 school year. I submit that my student is in the appropriate age group to attend this event and understand that student or state ID is required at Prom entry.
I understand that approved background-checked chaperones have been secured for the Prom and for security and safety purposes, family members or any other unregistered/unapproved person will not be allowed entry to the prom or the prom grounds beyond the parking lot.
I understand that students entering prom must have a valid student ID or state ID and Prom waiver form.
I understand that tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable.
I understand that I am responsible for my family’s transportation to and from the Prom, and the attendee is responsible for checking in and out of the Prom. For the security of the attendee, the family will be contacted when attendees neglect to check-out of the Prom, even if the hour is late.
I understand that no alcohol, nicotine, vaping, or drugs of any kind will be allowed at the Prom. Parents and/or authorities will be called, and student(s) asked to leave the Prom and premises.
I understand that a gratuitous group of vintage car owners may be present to display their vehicles for a unique prom photo experience. I understand that all agreements and release of liabilities apply to these owners and their vehicles on the Prom and Oldfield Plantation premises. I agree to respect these individuals and their property and understand that non-compliance may result in a call to the authorities and/or expulsion from the Prom. I understand that parents may take advantage of this photo opportunity but will not be allowed entry into prom as the student ticket includes professional photography 6:30-7:30 pm.
I understand that though tickets include a chance to obtain photos with a professional photographer, my student may lose this opportunity if arrival at the Prom is too late. I understand that photos are being offered 6:30-7:30, but as they are taken in the order of student arrival, latecomers may miss out on photos even if they arrive before 7:30 but are not left with enough time in line.
I acknowledge that the attendee does not have an underlying medical condition, as referenced herein, or that if the student has such underlying medical condition, that the undersigned will first obtain written permission, to be provided to the Prom director, from a licensed healthcare professional prior to the attendee participating in Prom.
The Family will not attend Prom should anyone Family member exhibit COVID symptoms, be diagnosed with COVID, or find to have been in contact with anyone with a confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis in the last 10 days. The undersigned agrees that the Family will comply with any safety or health-related rules, terms, or conditions for participation in Prom.
I understand that masks and social distancing are not required at the Prom and I assume all possible health risks associated with participation.
The Prom directors retain the right to deny the Family’s attendance or participation in Prom if it is determined that such attendance or participation is an undue health risk to the Family or others. The Prom directors similarly have the right to deny any other individual from attending Prom if said individual’s attendance poses an undue health risk to that individual or others.
I understand that many elements may affect an event of this nature and the Prom is subject to change.
All attendees (students, parents, guests) agree that they have read, understand, and agree to abide by the Dress Code and Code of Conduct, and that failure to do so will result in expulsion from the Prom.
