*While we hope that you enjoy a fun, educational, and memorable field trip to this program, please remember that our school group programs are an extension of each family’s class day. We ask our hosts to aim for educational quality.
*For this set of programs, siblings may need to stay with a parent outdoors due to space limitations and safety restrictions. Please prepare for this possibility by making plans with another parent for chaperoning purposes. There is a nearby park in walking distance that may offer a wonderful alternative for younger siblings.
*Space limitations will prohibit strollers inside the studio but you may have them for outdoor activity and walking to the nearby park.
*We hope that the majority of this program will be conducted outdoors. Plan and dress accordingly.
*This is not a hands on event – it is a visit. We appreciate Mr. Preston for giving us his time!
Jacob Preston has been a full-time working potter for nearly forty years. He has lived in Bluffton, SC since the mid-1970s, working for most of that time in a live-work compound that is a retired church, known as the Bluffton Tabernacle.
