Event description

Join us as we visit Beaufort to tour a TV station and learn about services through the Beaufort County Arts Council. We will enjoy a guided tour of ETV and students will get to test out a green screen to see how the news is produced. Afterward, the group will walk over to the Beaufort County Arts Council for a guided tour of their facility. There, they will learn about the community services they provide, the artists in residence, and our group will split into elementary and middle/high school ages for a hands-on history lesson on the Mather School, the first school for enslaved women.
